Broccoli Cheese Patties

Step 1: Prepare Broccoli

  1. Steam broccoli for 3–4 minutes until just tender.
  2. Drain very well and finely chop.
    👉 Excess water will make patties soft.

Step 2: Make the Mixture

  1. In a bowl, combine broccoli, cheese, eggs, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and spices.
  2. Mix until everything is well combined and holds together.

Step 3: Shape Patties

  1. Take small portions and form flat patties with your hands.
  2. Press gently so they don’t fall apart.

Step 4: Cook

Pan-fry method (best texture):

  1. Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  2. Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.

OR

Oven method (lighter):

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C / 400°F.
  2. Place patties on lined tray, brush lightly with oil.
  3. Bake 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway.
