Step 1: Prepare Broccoli
- Steam broccoli for 3–4 minutes until just tender.
- Drain very well and finely chop.
👉 Excess water will make patties soft.
Step 2: Make the Mixture
- In a bowl, combine broccoli, cheese, eggs, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and spices.
- Mix until everything is well combined and holds together.
Step 3: Shape Patties
- Take small portions and form flat patties with your hands.
- Press gently so they don’t fall apart.
Step 4: Cook
Pan-fry method (best texture):
- Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
OR
Oven method (lighter):
- Preheat oven to 200°C / 400°F.
- Place patties on lined tray, brush lightly with oil.
- Bake 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway.
